Year 6 – Cookery Classes

As part of their topic work 'What is an Evacuee’ Year 6 have been cooking food recipes from the wartime period including making Welsh Cakes. A lot of fun was had as the learners endeavoured to master a wide range of culinary skills. The highlight of the task was of course getting to taste the product - and it turned out that the effort was worth it as the Welsh Cakes were extremely tasty
