Nursery

The Nursery is ‘managed’ by a  fully qualified Nursery teacher, supported by qualified Foundation Phase Classroom Assistants.  Pupils of nursery age may attend the unit for half a day or a full day - from 9:00 am - 3:30pm.

Each Nursery session is 2.5 hours.

Morning session is from 9:00am- 11:30am.

Afternoon session is from 1:00pm- 3:30pm.

Pupils may stay for School Meals or bring a packed lunch from home. Pupils are fully supervised during breaks and lunch breaks. Parents should inform the Leader of the Early Years beforehand of any dietary needs.

Nursery pupils may attend Breakfast Club (7:30 am-8:30am). Pupils will be supervised and escorted to the Nursery.

Nursery pupils may attend the daily After School Club (3:30-6:00pm). Pupils will be escorted from the Nursery to After School Club.  See CLUBS.

 The nursery uniform is compulsory-

  1. Pupils attending the Nursery are expected to be wearing the School Uniform.
  2. See attached list for the cost of sessions, School Uniform, School meals etc.
  3. All kept sessions must be paid for – even if the pupil does not attend.
  4. Milk / water is offered during break times. You are welcome to give your child a piece of fruit or a healthy snack to eat during his/her break. If your child has any dietary needs, you will be expected to have discussed these beforehand with the Early Years Leader.
  5. There will be 1 Physical education lesson per week.

The Physical education Uniform consists of:

  • Black shorts - plain
  • Yellow ‘T’ Shirt with crest – bought at the School
  • Pumps/trainers with Velcro fasteners
