Identifying Earthworms

Year 6 searched for earthworms on the school grounds learning about their habitat and trying to identify the different types of earthworms that exist. They are fascinating creatures that play a vital role in our eco system. The class then built a garden for them which involved alternating layers of sand and soil. That was not the end of the task, the information then had to be recorded in a structured and logical manner in the form of a database. By doing this everyone can see, read and understand the results.
